Lake District Boat Hire

If you are coming to the Lake District and want to hire a top quality canoe or kayak for your exclusive use, look no further! We provide boat hire to individuals, groups and organisations with the requisite prior experience. We can supply boats to any of the main lakes within the Lake District for up to a week's hire. To ensure you have a stress-free trip, we provide a delivery service (for a minimum of two days boat hire) to your accommodation or lake shore, as well as providing all the safety equipment and a comprehensive briefing for your group. If you prefer to hire your canoe or kayak for just a day or half days hire, you are welcome to come to our Keswick base and have a paddle around the beautiful Derwent Water, maybe landing on St. Herberts island and searching for the ruins!

As our canoe or kayak boat hire is dependent on other activities, please ring early to avoid disappointment! If you have never been to the Lake District, or Keswick in particular, don't worry, as we have waterproof maps and ideas that can be provided for your journey into the fantastic Lake District scenery - islands to visit or camp on, wildlife to find and cafes and bars to paddle to!

Lake District Boat Hire - Process

Lake District boat hire couldn't be easier. In order to hire your canoe or kayak we require full payment on the day of pick up or delivery. For all boat hire bookings we require proof of identity, for example a copy of a driving licence or passport, and we will request a deposit (£ 100 cash or passport, driving licence or similar) which will be returned when the boats are collected free from any damage.
