National 3 Peaks Challenge

This involves climbing the highest points of England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon) in under 24 hours. It is a serious test of both a group's mental and physical stamina, but is within the ability of all reasonably fit individuals. The 3 Peaks Challenge can be run either south to north, or north to south depending on the groups' requirements. After several years of organising this challenge, Mobile Adventure have put together two alternative itineraries which we believe give the group the best chance of completing the event within 24 hours. The two itineraries are listed below for you to read, and the price quoted covers all transport, food and accommodation during the challenge.

Mobile Adventure recommends that all participants carry out some preparatory training and have a sound understanding of the difficulties likely to be encountered. However on completion of the 3 Peaks Challenge you will have some truly outstanding memories of a wonderful trip.

What happens when not walking?

The physical challenge of the 3 Peaks Challenge cannot be underestimated; however this is compounded by the mental tiredness brought about by the lack of sleep. To combat this it is essential to sleep as much as possible between the peaks, and this is why Mobile Adventure tailors their 3 Peaks Challenge to ensure the longest drive takes place during the hours of darkness.

Forming a team

Although the majority of people take on the 3 Peaks Challenge with 6 - 8 friends or work colleagues, many join one of our 'open challenge' events either as an individual, or with a friend. These events are always very social trips, and you will meet many like minded people keen to tackle this great challenge.
