Lead Climbing in the Lake District

On the other hand, perhaps you are a competent climber looking to improve your skills? Our fully qualified instructors provide a rock climbing course which will talk you through your first lead, show you how to perform rescues or simply help to improve your movement skills. The layout of the day is entirely focussed on meeting your specific requirements.
Our Lake District lead climbing course is designed to let you relax and enjoy your day, taking in the wonderfull views of the Lake District and perhaps climb some thing harder than you thought was possible if you want to.
Do I have to have climbed before?
The Mobile Adventure lead climbing course is designed for everyone and anyone.
If you're a complete beginner why not begin by trying our rock climbing activities. If you've climbed outdoors before but are unconfident in lead climbing, then this is an ideal course for you. Our aim would be that by the end of this rock climbing course you will be happy to lead and look after your partner during the climb. We will teach you how to place your rock climbing gear and assess its safety. You'll also be taught to build safe belays and other important skills.
