Lake District Mountain Challenges
Here at Mobile Adventure we provide our clients with a wide range of team building and charity fundraising mountain challenge events based in the beautiful Lake District National Park.
We offer a comprehensive planning service for both private and corporate groups producing customized events in accordance with the specific requirements of our customers.
The Lake District Challenges aren't easy - here are your options...
In contrast to the National Three Peaks Challenge which involves some 12 hours (700 miles!) of driving over a 24 hour period; our Lake District Mountain Challenge events provide a serious alternative where you can have a break away in the Lakes and tackle a major mountaineering challenge, without the enormous driving time & cost of the National 3 Peaks.
We offer a range of options for those groups who have either completed the National 3 Peaks Challenge or who are sensitive to the environmental impact on local communities and the adverse media coverage of this increasingly popular event and resultant high volume of traffic on these 3 mountains.
We can also run tailored one day events, such as an ascent of England's highest mountain Scafell Pike, or the exciting Striding Edge on Helvellyn and help you choose the route most suited to your groups aims.
We believe that the best way to tackle the environmental issue is to reduce car / minibus use to a minimum and to adopt a small group policy. We limit group sizes on all of our mountain challenge events to a maximum of 8 clients per walking group.
The Lake District is easily accessible and is especially suited to groups who are coming from various locations with an excellent rail link at Penrith which is only 25 minutes drive from our base in Keswick in the Northern Lakes.
